My parents are from Bangladesh and they are what I call ‘true immigrant stock’; worked hard and contributed to society via owning the 1st Indian restaurant in Bournemouth. I was born and raised in Bournemouth, being educated at Bournemouth Grammar School. My entire working life has been devoted to real estate business. Over the decades I gained much detailed knowledge and experience and I am very well equipped to advise my clients and customers. After many years of working in corporate estate agency, I took the brave step of a start-up business, being Fahren Estate Agents. I did this with my wife Rhoda Ahmed and my co-founder Nicholas Belbin. We have never looked back since.

Being the son of a precision engineer I expect high standards of quality from myself and the team at Fahren, both by way of service and results. Having studied business and finances at Bournemouth and Poole college I made the step into agency in 1989/90. I spent 4 and half years working in Christchurch and Southbourne before taking a interesting and exciting career move into a joint Estate Agency and banking role by managing a Branch of the Halifax, It is here where I met my business partner Julian.

We quickly realised we shared the same work ethic and commitment to high levels of service whilst delivering results for all our clients. It was then we decided to open Fahren and we have never looked back. With hard work and commitment anything can be achieved.

Working here for over 6 years now I have been blessed to learn the ins and outs of estate agency business, becoming sharp and savvy, yet down-to-earth, professional and loyal, and most of all gained a greater respect for the team and the extra mile they go.

In my spare time, I write and direct short films, maintain a faith blog, attend dance lessons and aim to perfect my grasp of the Italian language.

Working at Fahren for little over 10 years, I enjoy managing and working in the busy lettings department. Working on every aspect of lettings has given me confidence and knowledge to offer our clients the best service and advice possible, from buying an investment property, finding tenants, managing it and dealing with deposits and admin.

You'll often find me competing in half marathons and triathlons in my spare time as well as managing a successful rental portfolio.
